How Did We Get Here?
It's been a long and winding road for sure. We began dating at 15/16 in 1986. We were married in 1993. We are each other's one and only. We are monogamous but enjoy sharing our fun these days though that was not always the case. The early days were rocky sexually, but all other facets of the marriage were awesome. The problem was neither of us knew what we were doing... So, we fumbled along, producing three kids, but not knowing why sex was so lackluster. We will cover much of this in future posts but fast forward to today and I have to say, it doesn't get much better than this. We went from going years of her never having had an orgasm to having them daily and easily. It was a lot of work, and I get a lot of questions about how we did it, how do I get my wife to do the things she does, how can I have a marrige like that. I promise you, it is possible. In future posts I will cover in detail how we go here. It can and will work, but you must be prepared to commit to it. I am not and will never sell anything. I simply am thankful for where we are and want to share what worked for us.
I'm Back!
It's been a long time, but I could not stay away... I tried X, and a few other platforms but I miss the blog format. So here we go again. Long time married man for 33 years to my high school sweetheart. Here we will discuss marriage, sex and more. So join me and enjoy the ride!
Three topics. Plenty to unpack.
Sex
Talking about intimacy without blame, pressure, or keeping score.
Marriage
Making room for connection in the middle of everyday life.
Desire
Getting curious about what we want, where we differ, and what our boundaries mean.
Our perspective
Honesty matters. So does how we use it.
Being direct doesn’t mean being careless with each other.
We believe conversations about sex need room for both partners’ voices. Needs deserve to be heard, boundaries deserve respect, and consent is never something marriage makes automatic.
This is a personal blog, not a set of rules for your relationship. Take what helps you reflect, leave what doesn’t, and make space for your partner’s perspective too.
